Hi, my name is Ingrid LeProu and I have been working in the health and wellness industry for the past 17 years. I began in the fitness industry, studying in exercise prescription and personal training. Then as I began to study nutrition, I became interested in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. This led me to study Yoga, and Ayurveda.
My passion for Yoga led me to train as a yoga instructor and I began teaching in 2000. The style of yoga I teach now incorporates vinyasa (flowing) sequences with focus also on the breath to explore asana/movement at a deeper level for greater benefits to the body and mind. I also bring focus to the different meridians in the body and how we can keep the body in balance with each season. After having children I became interested in Yoga for kids and how it can positively impact their lives. I have trained with Loraine Rushton (Zenergy Yoga) in Australia. It is a lot of fun to share yoga with children and a great way for them to develop strong healthy bodies and a strong self-belief!
In Mid 2016, I completed my Yoga Health coaching certification with Yoga Healer. This has been an amazing journey and has enriched my life and love of Yoga & Ayurveda for my overall health & wellbeing. I love that I can share this knowledge in my courses with others. I believe vibrant health is our potential and learning more about our unique body & mind is so valuable for navigating life and achieving balance.
In 2011, I attended a Louise L. Hay training workshop, to become certified to teach her philosophies. Louise Hay is an amazing inspirational teacher, she has assisted millions of people in discovering their full potential and healing themselves. I am passionate about Louise’s philosophy as it teaches us how to truly love ourselves and others.
